Venus Claptrap is a large man-eating plant monster that could fire burning pollen.
In the comics, Vexor was once surrounded by his kind.
He was brought from the comics in "Root of All Evil" to steal Drew's unusual plant. During battle, Claptrap swallowed Roland & Jo inside & they clung onto his inner roots to avoid falling into his stomach acid. He ended up defeated in the end, when Drew used the power of Gargantis.
Venus Claptrap was later brought out of the comics again by Vexor during the "Curse of the Shadowborg" saga, as seen at the end of "The Revenge of Vexor" & in "A Friend in Need."
