Torch Mouth

This article is about a monster in Beetleborgs Metallix.

Torch Mouth is a fire-breathing smilodon monster that looks like a combination of a skeletal mouse with a tiger-striped smilodon's second head on his forehead & smilodon-like paws. He can breathe fire out of his tiger head.

He first appeared in Extra... Beetleborgs Revealed, where he was used by the Crustaceans to capture a reporter. He succumbed to Drew's Data Laser, which was in Freeze Ray mode.

In Mega Borg Power, Torch Mouth's picture was seen among the many of Les's drawings that were combined with toxic chemicals & Nukus' powers to create Repgillian.

Character History[]

Torch Mouth was created to kidnap a news reporter called Iris MacAce that the Crustaceans believed was a new friend to the Beetleborgs and use her as bait to trap the Beetleborgs. After trapping Iris in an eevator and surroinding it in flames, Torch Mouth continued to set flames in the building but encountered the Beetleborgs, he threw Drew out of the building and shot fireballs at him, the battle continued outside and Torch Mouth continued to thrash Drew until Torch Mouth was beaten after being shot at by Drew's Data laser Freeze Beam. Torch Mouth's drawing was one of five drawings of previous mo ns te rs selected to be used in Nukus' plan to combine Les' drawings with sewer sludge and Nukus' magic to create a new powerful monster. Mega Borg Power

The costume for Torch Mouth was later used in the Power Rangers in Space episode Countdown to Destruction as a member of Rita Repulsa & Lord Zedd's army.
The costume for Torch Mouth was later used in the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue episode The Fate of Lightspeed Pt. 2 among the monsters in the Shadow World.
