Togakure-ryū (戸隠流?) is an ancient ninja order whose duty is to protect the Inscription, a piece of stone that points the location of Pako, a capsule that fell from space somewhere in Japan over 300 B.C., said to be the most valuable treasure in the world.

- In the first episode, a master and two disciples can be seen training in their dojo, the Togakure-ryū Bujinkan. In real-life, the Togakure-ryū Bujinkan is the oldest Ninjutsu school (ninpo taijutsu), which is still taught within the Bujinkan of which Masaaki Hatsumi is the sōke. The gi (such as the one worn by Toha Yamaji) and the mon (emblem) worn by the master and the disciples are the ones worn by the practicioners of Bujinkan.
