A Monster Hides, a Girl Kissed a Petal (怪物がひそむ花びらに少女は口づけした Kaibutsu ga Hisomu Hanabira ni Shōjo wa Kuchidzuke Shita?) is the seventh episode of Space Sheriff Gavan.
Synopsis[]
Gavan must stop the Makuu from manipulating an innocent girl whose flowers are used to hide a monster in order to steal gold.
Plot[]
The episode begins where Samurai Ari Monster infiltrates the rose garden at night and using this to hide from one of its roses in the flower pot and was soon taken by Kimi. After delivery the roses the next morning, the Double Men were used to let Samurai Ari Monster to get all the bags of money. Meanwhile when both Wakaba and Yoichi were at home to see their grandfather Gosuke and learning that someone stole a ham and a roast beef in the fridge and puts a blame on Shigeru. It reveals that it was Retsu who stole the food and gives to the abandoned puppies he had found in the river. He was met by Kimi to see the puppies and Retsu allows her to adopt one of them which he named it Koro. Kimi tells him to see her and her family at the neighborhood garden. He tells Koro not to pee when Kimi adopts him at home and Kimi say goodbye to Retsu and leave. However, he sees an attack comes from the Makuu who infiltrated a car contains the bags of money, he infiltrates them and immediately transforms into Gavan when Samurai Ari Monster attacks him. Just as he chases after the two disguised Double Men with Saibarian, Gavan discovers their escape and the car they drove as a detonator causing to escape before it exploded. Retsu later arrives at the garden, confirming that the rose he had kept had the same ones as the normal roses, he was later met by Kimi and her family.
At the Makuu Empire, Don Horror informs the two Double Men to lure Gavan into their trap by making a robbery. At Dolgiran, Mimie wants to dance with Retsu in a disco but he abruptly leaves after learning about the robbery. He soon follows the perpetrators and also found out that Kimi and her parents are captured by the group. Kimi tells Retsu to stay back before losing consciousness and he gets her on time. Suddenly the rose gasses his eyes, causing him to lose his sight temporarily. Despite being temporarily blind, Retsu is still able to take down the Makuu soldiers while escaping. Upon regaining his sight, he transforns into Gavan and fight them off. They were later transported to the Makuu Space dimension ordered by Don Horror as Gavan searched the monster using Saibarian. Gavan manages to destroy the sphere with Laser Z Beam after it attacked him with green flames. Samural Ari Monster battles Gavan which he prevailed by weakening it with Laser Z Beam after being detected with his Laser Scope. The monster grew large and Gavan summons the Dol in Dolgiran to battle it and destroys the monster with Dol Fire and Dol Laser. Gavan later battles the Double Man in a sword fight which he defeats it with his Laser Blade and Gavan Dynamic and the entire Makuu space dimension reverts back to the Earth's surface. After this incident, Kimi's parents gave him a bouquet of roses after saving them from Makuu and Retsu appreciates the smell of the rose. He put a single rose on Kimi's head and finally say goodbye to Kimi and her family and leave by driving his Suzuki SJ.
