The Demon Palace's Backstabbing Brothers (魔宮の裏切り兄弟 Makyū no Uragiri Kyodai?) is the twenty-eighth episode of Space Sheriff Shaider.
Synopsis[]
Hessler's brother joins Fuma. Will he be a new leader?
Plot[]
Himley visits the Magic Palace to find his brother Hessler and is prepared to join Fuma after a friendly fight. Kubilai is impressed with Himley's skills and suggests that Hessler defeat Shaider with his brother's help. Himley has a plan and shows them the poisonous spider. They use a child as bait in the port area and Dai tries to rescue him. At that moment Dai is bitten by the spider and is attacked by Himley. When he sinters, he feels the effects of the poison and has to flee. The Babilos ship manages to rescue him. Annie lifts Dai off the ground. Inside Babilos, Annie is worried that Dai is going to die. But Marin and Commander Qom calm her down by revealing an antidote to her.
At the Magic Palace, Kubilai is proud of Himley offering a golden sword as an honor. Hessler is worried and has nightmares about his brother's betrayal. Annie injects Shaider with the antidote to the poison and he begins to regain consciousness. Annie, moved by Dai's recovery, begins to cry, holds his hands and places her head on Dai's chest, showing a gesture of love for her partner.
Shaider wants to get up to fight, but falls to the ground. Annie reprimands him, saying that he still needs to rest and that she herself will go on patrol.
When she finds Kojiro and some children playing with a spider, Annie warns them to let go of the poisonous animal as quickly as possible. Then other spiders appear and make Annie fall into a trap underground. Horrified and scared, Annie sends an SOS to Shaider, who recovers.
After saving Annie, Shaider faces the two brothers, but to everyone's surprise, Hessler hits Himley with the sword. Shaider strikes Hessler, who retreats and Himley's body explodes after his death.
Annie meets Dai and she is happy to see him alive.
