Biography[]
B-Robo Kabutack[]
Sharkler was one of the 10 B-Robots built by Dr. Kouenji. He was developed at the same time as Cobrander and the two were tested together by having them fight against each other. However, after Sharkler proved himself to be overly aggressive and continued to beat down Cobrander after pinning him, Kouenji had to intervene and zap Sharkler to get him to stop. Sharkler would later assault Dr. Kouenji while he was doing repairs on Cobrander, leading Kouenji to neutralize him and seal him away in a cave by the sea.
However, after the hunt for the Star Pieces began, Sharkler was discovered and unsealed by Dangoron, who could not tell difference between good and evil robots due to a programming mishap. Sharkler initially presented himself as friendly to Dangoron and teamed up with him to gather the Star Pieces, only to show his true bloodthirsty nature when he was confronting Kabutack. After a Star Piece was discovered, Sharkler fought Kabutack in a judo match for it and defeated him, only to discover the Star Piece was a fake.
Ganirun and Spydon became in awe of his power and because of that Sharkler was able to win them to his side and became the Enemy B-Robots' new leader, ousting Cobrander. Cobrander thus temporarily teamed up with Kabutack to defeat Sharkler and the other Enemy B-Robots in the next competition, a tag team wrestling match. Although Cobrander was able to defeat both his former minions, he was unable to stand up to Sharkler and was forced to tag in Kabutack, who defeated Sharkler with help from a new powerup Dr. Kouenji had developed. Although Ganirun and Spydon returned to working with Cobrander, Sharkler would occasionally team up with them to face off against Kabutack and his allies in various competitions for the Star Pieces.
During the events of The Epic Christmas Battle, Sharkler broke inside Ushimatsu Tsudanuma's lair to give Yuzuru back Kabutack's changer, not wanting Tsudanuma and his A-Robots to be the ones who defeated Kabutack.
After Sharkler theorized that Captain Tomborg was really Dr. Kouenji in disguise, he was able to convince Cobrander and his goons to help him capture Tomborg. At the same time, Kabutack and his friends also came to the same conclusion and went to go unmask Captain Tomborg. However, the last Star Piece attached itself to Tomborg and gave him the power to flee. Although Tomborg was initially able to outmaneuver his pursuers, Sharkler and Cobrander were able to trick him into falling into a sticky trap. The Enemy B-Robots then attempted to pull Captain Tomborg out, but he wouldn't budge. Frustrated with the performance of Cobrander and his henchmen, Sharkler blasted them with his Tondemo-Jaws mecha before attempting to step on Captain Tomborg with it and crush him. However, Sharkler's treatment of them drove Cobrander and his men to join the other B-Robots in holding up Tondemo-Jaws's foot to save Captain Tomborg. Sharkler was then defeated by Kabutack, who went on to claim the Star Piece and use it to wish away the yellow scar on Sharkler's forehead. Grateful to Kabutack for what he had done, Sharkler turned good and renounced his evil ways. He then gathered with the other B-Robots to witness the competion of the Star Piece.
When the Star Piece brought forward Star Mind, who desired the extermination of humanity, Sharkler and the other B-Robots competed against him and his minionsin a game of rugby to decide humanity's fate. Together, they were able to win and save humanity, leading Star Ming to amicably concede defeat and disappear.
