Planet Bird
Planet Bird (バード惑星 Bādo Wakusei?), also known as Bird Star (バード星 Bādo-sei?), is located within the solar system, five light-years from Earth
, and serves as the headquarters of the Galactic Federation Police. Its inhabitants possess natural aptitude for abilities such as telepathy, yet they are fundamentally of the same species as humans. Individuals of mixed heritage, such as Gavan—who is half Earthling and half Birdian—as well as Earthlings descended from Birdians, like Shaider, also exist.
It is known that Planet Bird had already developed interstellar navigation technology at least 12,000 years ago by Earth's reckoning. According to accounts given by figures such as Shaider, following the end of a period of warfare 5,000 years ago, the planet has since prospered as a world of peace and intellect.
