Julio Rivera (フリオ・リベラ Furio Ribera?) is a Peruvian archaeologist from the South American Andes who transforms into B-Fighter Genji (
History[]
Julio Rivera is a young man who loves nature[1], and he also understands the meaning of the B-Fighters, where nature and machines are in harmony. At first, he was hesitant to give it to Ran Ayukawa in order to discourage Ran, who has an absolute view of computers, but when she knew it was necessary, he gave her the Bright Pointer. He played a reed flute with strange powers that he gave to Ran as a memento of their time together. He was chosen by the Firefly Insect Medal to become Genji, whose armor was modeled after a firefly.

B-Fighter Genji is a warrior transformed by Julio Rivera after undergoing Chojuukou (超重甲 Chōjūkō?). Also known as Warrior of Light (光の戦士 Hikari no Senshi?)[1]. He used Input Card F-F (FIREFLY)[1][2]. Developed by the Cosmo Academia South America branch[3], the armor absorbs light from luminous crystals mounted on his shoulders and turns it into energy[1].

Julio Rivera was portrayed by Seiji Takaiwa (高岩 成二 Takaiwa Seiji?). As B-Fighter Genji, his suit actor is Takaiwa himself[4][5][6] and Takeshi Miyazaki (宮崎 剛 Miyazaki Takeshi?). When there is both Julio and action shooting, Takaiwa is in charge of changing clothes and standing around in the meantime[7].

- At first, Julio was conscious of the setting of Peruvian and applied black makeup, because it takes time and effort, he gradually changed to natural makeup.[6]
