Jeb is Ryan's pet Redbone Coonhound, whom he had since he was young. Jeb was accidentally subjected to a power surge in part two of The Battle Begins that gave him the ability to speak. Ryan had him promise that he would never speak when around other people, so Jeb is usually silent except while in the lab.
One time, Jeb had to fight as a Trooper once when he & Ryan accidentally switched bodies.

Jeb is known for both his mischievous personality and his humorous demeanor. Often, Jeb serves as comic relief, and both Percy and Mrs. Rooney are frequent victims to his antics. He also has a voracious appetite eating any food lying around, including food from Ryan and the other Troopers.

Mutant Jeb
Grimlord created a special formula to mutate animals & Jeb was his first test subject. Ziktor set up a fake dog food commercial starring Jeb & slipped the formula into Jeb's food. Slowly, Jeb developed unusual behavior & a bad attitude problem. Jeb eventually mutated into a dog monster completely loyal to Grimlord. He was ordered to go on a rampage by releasing animals from zoos. Ryan used a virtual canine to bring Jeb back to his senses, but Toxoid arrives & sprays Jeb with a disintegrating foam. Jeb was saved just in time & returned to normal back at the lab. Mutant Jeb fits the category of Toxoid's army. Dogmatic Change
