Face Guard
Action Mode (アクションモード Akushon Mōdo?) is a Janperson's battle mode, changing from Normal Mode upon arrival at the scene by applying a protective visor Face Guard (フェイスガード Feisu Gādo?) on his face.

It has a strong body, a robot-like side with a lot of combat equipment, kindness and warmth, and it has a side that can understand and accept the pain and sadness of people (other than others). He has an absolute belief in his own justice as well as human life and love, and for that reason, he has shown his willingness to throw his own life and to turn the state power into an enemy. However, at the root of this, the excessive poetic justice AI of the prototype MX-A1 remains while being suppressed [note 2]. Eventually, he cuts off the right and wrong judgment circuit himself, returns to MX-A1 and heads to kill Bill Goldy, but regains his heart in the battle.

Janperson is composed of the following parts:

  • Super Computer (スーパーコンピュータ Sūpā Konpyūta?): Located in Janperson's head. With this mechanism, he can think, get upset, and get rid of things. Allows him to get along well with humans and does not make a wrong judgement.
  • High Power Unit (ハイパワーユニット Hai Pawā Yunitto?): Located on Janperson's chest. It is a mechanism that produces tremendous power. But, what kind of energy is being used is a mystery.
  • Ultra-Hybrid Motor (ウルトラハイブリッドモーター Urutora Haiburiddo Mōtā?): A small motor mounted on the shoulder, allowing Janperson to withstand the weight of large objects thrown at him.
