It's Major! Stop Dr. Kurboshi's BEM Project (大変だ！黒星博士のベム計画を阻止せよ Taihen da! Kuroboshi-Hakase no Bemu Keikaku o Soshi Seyo?) is the third episode of Space Sheriff Gavan.
Synopsis[]
When a mysterious man with strange powers Kidnaps the goat of Yoichi and Wakaba, Gavan investigates, leading to a strange plot brought about by Maque, and distressing news about his father, the Space sheriff assigned to protect Earth.
Plot[]
The story begins where a mysterious old man had targeted a goat named Mei which was owned by both Yoichi and Wakaba which he successfully kidnaps it and uses as its research under the name as Dr. Kuroboshi within the BEM Project led by the Maque. Meanwhile at the Avalon Riding Club, Retsu being aided with Gosuke to briefly trains Mimie in horseback riding, leading Retsu to go with Mimie while riding horses from the Riding Club to the lake. He prayed for his safety while thinking about his father Voicer who first sent on the mission in Earth. He was then meet up with the kids including Yoichi and Wakaba to inform them about the old man, leading Retsu to go and investigate the old man. The search ends at the construction site where two Maque soldiers ambushed Retsu by ramming with their car, causing him to jump higher and transforms into Gavan. He fought Hunter Killer and his group including Condor Monster as Condor Monster was enough for Hunter Killer and his group escape when it fought Gavan. Hunter Killer warns Gavan that he will be in hell if anyone opposes the Maque as well as taunting him that his father Voicer was in Hell.
Back at Dolgiran, Retsu wants answers from Commander Qom as well as Hunter Killer in how he betrays them. Qom tells him that his father Voicer and Hunter Killer were sent on Earth. Hunter Killer is later sided with Maque while Voicer is missing. Retsu realizes that his father may had involved with the Hunter Killer. At the hidden base concealed as the food company, Dr. Kuroboshi succeeds in dissolving the kidnapped goat Mei into nothingness and soon reports to Don Horror about his success. He orders him to kidnapped children to make a final stage of his research. He soon returns as the old man where the kids led by Yoichi and Wakaba to find Mei (not knowing that their goat was killed by the Maque's experiments) and knowing that Wakaba and the other kids were kidnapped by the old man. After discussion of Dolgiran, Retsu continues to find his father's whereabouts and was met up by Kojiro Oyama who informs hin about the old man and how he disappeared. He soon assisted with Mimie in finding Dr. Kuroboshi after she researched about his successful acclaims. They were later informed by Yoichi and the other kids about his sister Wakaba was kidnapped by the old man, leading them to rescue the kids. Arrving on the lab site, Mimie transforms into a bird so that she hides on Retsu's jacket underneath and Retsu infiltrates the lab and manages to dodge the traps set by them He finally rescued Wakaba who is about to be zap by the machine which it dissolves their goat into nothingness and he releases Mimie who soon reverts to human form to assists the kids to safety. Retsu confronts Dr. Kuroboshi who soon transforms into Double Man and orders the soldiers to kill him. Retsu fights the soldiers and soon jumps on the higher heights outside and transform into Gavan. After fighting soldiers and battling Condor Monster, Don Horror orders his men to sent it in the Maque space dimension while Gavan follows it with Saibarian. The fight became much more intense due to the monster's power increase and he destroys it with Gavan Z Beam. He soon confronted by Double Man and they go for a sword fight only for Gavan to kill it with its Laser Blade and Gavan Dynamic and the Maque Dimension reverts back to the Earth's surface. After the incident by foiling the BEM Project led by the Maque, both Retsu and Mimie are riding away with his Suzuki SJ.
