Hillhurst Mansion is a haunted mansion in the town of Charterville, which formed the base of operations of the Beetleborgs. Hillhurst is haunted by several monsters, who have a taste for human flesh. Fortunately, these aren't the brightest creatures and are too inept to actually catch their prey.
History[]
Hillhurst is known throughout Charterville as a haunted mansion. It is a popular pastime of the children of Charterville to go into the house as part of a dare. Drew, Jo and Roland were dared by Van and Trip to stay in the mansion for one hour. During this stay, the three children accidentally awoke the monsters inhabiting the house. After a wacky chase, they arrive in a room containing an organ. The children unintentionally freed Flabber from this organ, who allowed them a wish. The three wished to become the Beetleborgs. However, as a side effect, their enemies, the Magnavores, also escaped, starting a long conflict between good and evil.
Residents[]
- Flabber: A Phasm with great magical powers. He owns the mansion and keeps the other monsters under control.
- Count Fangula: An eccentric vampire and the unofficial leader of the other monsters.
- Frankenbeans: A monster created by Doctor Baron von Frankenbeans. He is very strong, but has the mind of a toddler.
- Mums: A 5000 year old mummy who can be very egotistical.
- Wolfgang Smith: A werewolf.
- Ghoulum: A living statue who usually just stands in a corner.
- Little Ghoul: A small demonic creature who joins the house in the second season.
