Combat Giant Daileon

Based from the silvery Super Planetary Battleship Daileon (超惑星戦闘母艦ダイレオン Chō Wakusei Sentōbokan Daireon?), Juspion travels across worlds to pursue Satan Gorth and is armed with lasers above its bridge called the Daileon Laser. Garbin and Iron Wolf and are stored inside this battleship.

When facing a rampaging MegaBeast, Juspion converts Daileon the into Super Planetary Battle Giant Daileon (超惑星戦闘巨人ダイレオン Chō Wakusei Sentōkyojin Daireon?) (transformation time: 5,45 seconds) to defeat MegaBeasts with its Cosmic Crash rushing double punches. It also fires various beams from the torso plate, eyes, and ears called the Daileon Beam.

In the final episode the Golden Bird gives it a weapon called the Golden Sword which it uses on Super Satan Gorth complete with its own version of the Cosmic Harley.

Powers and Weapons: Daileon is created with 80% Ejinium, a rare, durable and mystic metal. Its system absorb solar and another cosmic energies, converting to fuel, force field and ammunition . Juspion's Metal-Tech suit needs Daileon's cosmic converter system to reload his armor, powers and weapons. In robot mode: Daileon Beam (fire beam from its red chest plate and yellow energy beams from its head); Daileon Laser (Garbin Jet cannons on its robot head); Cosmic Crash (most powerful move - a lethal finisher where it covers itself in blue electricity before doing a powerful right punch or double punch); Daileon Kick; Daileon Punch; Daileon Cosmic Harley (only with the Golden Sword). Daileon has a degree of artificial intelligence and, sometimes presents friendship with Juspion and Anri (although Daileon does not speak), like a guardian or ''old big brother''. In battle, Daileon can demonstrate various articulated movements from martial arts, like boxing and wrestling. This mecha is a true ''grappler'', very unique in the tokusatsu genre. In the ''Toei's Metal Hero'' franchise, there are only six giant robots (mecha): Only Daileon (and Jiraishin) can fighting like a human fighter(s). The other robots use attacks based in beams or missiles, without ''full contact''. Daileon can use Grand Nazca (mecha-ship from ''Spielban'') ; and Vavilos (mecha-ship from ''Shaider''), in its giant weapon modes, like giant bazookas.

Curiosity:

In robot mode, Juspion use his Iron Wolf as the seat of Daileon's cockpit inside the Garbin Tank. In turn, Garbin Tank forms the <nowiki>''</nowiki>brain<nowiki>''</nowiki>\head of Interplanetary Battle Giant Daileon. Explanation: Juspion ride Iron Wolf bike -> Iron Wolf inside the Garbin Tank -> Garbin Tank inside the Daileon's Head in robot mode. This <nowiki>''</nowiki>matryoshka doll system<nowiki>''</nowiki> (a pilot inside a machine, inside another machine or a bigger robot) is a homage\reference to other classic mecha anime like <nowiki>''</nowiki>Mazinger Z<nowiki>''</nowiki> or <nowiki>''</nowiki>Kotetsushin Jeeg<nowiki>''</nowiki>, created by mangaka Go Nagai in the '70s.

This is the original concept. However, at various times, due to errors in continuity and production, Garbin is seen outside the scene, independent of Daileon's head, as if they were separate and coexisting vehicles. A common misconception that occurred when editing the scenes of these series at the time. Another common mistake was to show Juspion dropping his sword in a moment and then seeing him draw it again, without being shown how it was recovered. Or to show Garbin and Iron Wolf in different sizes and proportions when the miniatures were placed in the hands and feet of the actors who played Satan Gorth and the monsters: in some moments Iron Wolf was the same size as Garbin.
