Aqualungs

This article is about a monster in Beetleborgs Metallix.

Aqualungs is a red-&-yellow starfish monster. He had the ability to liquefy his body, making him a difficult attack target.

Aqualungs was the first monster drawn up by Lester Fortunes and unleashed by Nukus in Ghoul Trouble. After a one-on-one with Roland, he was defeated with the Metallix Grappler.

Character History[]

Aqualungs was selected to sneak into the basement of Hillhurst Mansion to lure the Beetleborgs into a trap.

Aqualungs made it into the basement through the water pipes and encountered the Beetleborgs, the Beetleborgs transformed and attacked Aqualungs who liquified and lured the Beetleborgs outside where Vilor was waiting, Roland took Aqualungs on while the others went after the Worm Tanks. During the battle, Aqualungs liquified and tied up Roland but Roland was able to break free and sent Aqualungs back to the 2D world by firing at him with his Metallix Grappler.

Liquification: Aqualungs can turn into an orange-colored liquid and solidify at will which he uses to either escape from enemies or to tie up enemies.

He was voiced by the late Bob Papenbrook, who previously played Shadowborg in Big Bad Beetleborgs & later Scorpix.
