Akira Asaka (浅香 晶 Asaka Akira?) is a writer who worked on Metal Hero Series in the 1990s. Outside of Metal Hero Series, he was a writer at Flagship for Resident Evil CODE: Veronica with his fellow Toei Tokusatsu writers: Noboru Sugimura, Hirohisa Soda, Jun'ichi Miyashita, and Yasuyuki Suzuki.
